The Girls’ Brigade (GB) is a Christian, international organisation working alongside girls and young women of every background, ability and culture.

Aims of GB
To help girls become followers of the Lord Jesus Christ and through self control, reverence and a sense of responsibility to find true enrichment of life.
Meeting Times
GB Activities
Every session is planned with the aim to make it as enjoyable and as much fun as we can for the relevant section.
Each girl undertakes badge work incorporating four themes: Spiritual, Physical, Educational and Service. Types of badge work includes craft, dance, cookery, bible study and much, much more. We also play games and make time for socializing. We also meet with other GB companies in the Borough for district parades and competitions and organize days out, trips and visits throughout the year.
Cost
Membership fees are currently set at £60 per member. They are payable in three instalments; September, January and around Easter time.
Uniform
We are a uniformed organization, which encourages girls to work as a team and gives them a sense of belonging. We issue uniform order forms to girls, once they have settled into our company.
